Blackthorn (2011)

“Butch Cassidy” played by “Sam Shepard” is now an old man and he wants to return home to live out his life in the surroundings he knows. He has changed his name and is now known as “James Blackthorn”. In the wild west, a man’s best friend is his horse. Without it, you are in trouble. Blackthorn’s horse is startled and runs off when Eduardo Apodaca, (Eduardo Noriega), a thief on the run, fires shots at Blackthorn. Everything Blackthorn has is on the horse and now he just has the clothes on his back. He doesn’t kill Eduardo instead, he listens to his story. Eduardo is running from a group of men, whose money he stole, the amount is $50,000. Blackthorn offers to help for half the money and so they become comrades. The film has a great location with amazing scenery and so you have this great feeling of space, just what you expect for the wild west, it has an imdb point of 7.1.
