Man Utd fear Crawley giant-killing in FA Cup

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is expecting Crawley to get "stuck into his team" in the FA Cup fifth round's David v Goliath clash.Crawley, arguably the richest club in the Blue Square Bet Premier, travel to Old Trafford on Saturday on a mission to carry out a huge giant-killing act. Crawley, second in their division, have beaten league opposition Swindon, Derby and Torquay en route to this stage and Ferguson believes their run has underlined the significance of the competition."They talk about the FA Cup dying, but it won't die as long as you've got giant-killing acts that Crawley have already produced," said the Scot. "We respect the fact that Crawley are the best non-league side for quite a while. "They seem to have a lot of money invested in their players and are near the top of the league, so their games in hand will probably see them promoted to the league proper. "There is always room for ambition and they could do well when they get into the Football League given the kind of money they have behind them and the ambition they have got." Crawley were £1m in the red until businessman Bruce Winfield and husband-and-wife duo Ian and Susan Carter became co-owners alongside Prospect Estates Holdings Limited. Winfield announced that the club were debt-free in July 2010. Some bookmakers have made Crawley 33-1 to win the tie against the 11-time FA Cup winners, but Town defender Kyle McFadzean feels his side can pull off an upset."It's unbelievable. It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity," said the 23-year-old."I might not be able to play at Old Trafford again so we have to take our chances when they come. "Whatever team they put out it will be a good one but we have to go there thinking we can win. "There's no point in going there expecting to get hammered is there?
